To preserve good health, it is extremely important for the immune system to be able to efficiently remove pathogens (bacteria, viruses, fungi and their toxins) while establishing oral tolerance to food proteins (potential antigens).

IMUNOLAK has been designed to help building a balance in immune system response by setting up balance during childhood and restoring lost balance among adults.

Causes of disturbed immunological balance

There are numerous allergic and chronic inflammatory diseases that can develop as a result of a disturbed immune system balance:

Allergic skin manifestations:

atopic dermatitis, contact dermatitis, hair loss, alopecia areata, fungal infections.

• Allergic manifestations on respiratory organs:

atopic rhinitis, asthma.

• Allergic manifestations in the digestive tract:

altered reaction to food, food intolerance, functional disorders of the digestive tract.

• Inflammatory diseases of the digestive tract:

irritable colon, ulcerative colitis, chronic disease, autoimmune hepatitis, biliary cirrhosis, holecistitis calcification, pancreatitis.

• Inflammatory joint and sinus membrane diseases:

gout, arthritis, reactive synovitis, rheumatoid arthritis.

• Immune system hemathopoetic disorder:

secondary anemia, leukopenia, thrombocytopenia.

• Renal and urinary tract disorders:

glomerulonephritis, repeated urinary tract infections, urinary bladder dyskinesia.

• Endocrine system diseases:

diabetes, gastrointestinal disturbance, polycystic ovaries, autoimmune thyroid disease, obesity.

• Central nervous system disorders:

autism, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, depression states.

• Illnesses of the blood vessels:

vasculitis, endothelial (atherosclerotic) disease purple Henoch Schonlein.

• Heart disease:

myocarditis, coronary artery (inflammation of the arteries), cardiomyopathy, pericarditis (inflammation of the coronary arteries), arrhythmia.

Reaction of our immune system

By looking at human as a whole and using knowledge based on immunology, it is possible to prevent and even treat diseases and conditions such as reduced resistance to infections, frequent infections, food intolerance, chronic inflammation, allergies and autoimmune degenerative diseases.

The answer is: Influence on induction of oral tolerance and change of damaged condition of the intestinal flora, more precisely the microbiota.

What is oral tolerance?

Food contains proteins, which are not familiar to our body, that can cause an allergic or fever reaction. For this reason, food for children in the youngest age is being given gradually, step by step, so the body could learn not to react to food proteins. This process is called the development of oral tolerance that is of outmost importance for normal metabolism and the adequate response of the immune system.

On the other hand, our immune system has to react adequately to the proteins of disease-causing bacteria (bacteria, viruses and fungi) to maintain health and resistance to infections.

When these two seemingly counterbalanced functions of the immune system get into balance, then we are protected from pathogens (disease triggers) but also have tolerance to food ingredients. In this case we can say that the prerequisites are fulfilled for:

– good health

– resistance to infections with the absence of allergic reactions or manifestations of the disease.

If imbalance or disturbance in the immune system occurs, for example, if our immune system recognizes protein from the food as a pathogen (bacteria, viruses or fungi) initiates the development of allergic diseases and / or chronic inflammatory diseases.

Also, if the immune system does not recognize or react to bacteria, as it should not react to food proteins, as a consequence, we may have an increased inclination to infections or common occurrence of persistent infections that are constantly coming back.
